S.T.E. energy, EPC Contractor of the Sorgent.e group, in Peru with Enersur (Gdf-Suez)

The company S.T.E. energy, EPC Contractor of the Sorgent.e group, one of the most important Italian manufacturers of plants internationally, is taking an increasingly lead role in South America and in Peru in particular, where it has been chosen by a world player as is GdF Suez (with its subsidiary Enersur) to build and install a 112 MW hydroelectric plant.

The ceremony organised for the signing of the contracts covering the construction of the Quitaracsa plant in the region of Ancash took place a few days ago in the Government Palace of Lima, before the President of the Republic Alan Garcia Perez, who thereby chose to stress the strategic value of this infrastructure for the country of the Andes. An extremely important plant that will also connect and convert to combined cycle a further 2 plants (Chilca Uno in Canete and Cold Riserva Generation Plant Ilo), creating a real "energy hub" for which total investments are forecast of around $ 800 million.
