The sun is the true force of energy of our planet.
An unlimited and clean source, that has been used for several years to produce renewable electrical energy.
In order to invest in this sector, the following fundamental conditions are required: technological development that enables ever more competitive prices, the use of ever more efficient conversion technologies, and a tariff policy, for example the “Conto Energia” (Energy Incentives) in Italy, that has enabled profitable investments thanks to appropriate measures.
Sorgent.e’s portfolio includes many investments in this sector in countries in which the following two strategic elements are present. A long-standing beneficial relationship with local entities that has enabled investment in traditional projects (hydro, wind, ...) thereby allowing the possibility to intervene in this sector as soon as the basic conditions are satisfied.
Today Sorgent.e is investing in approximately ten photovoltaic fields, several of which are already under construction, using the latest technologies, for an installable power of several tens of MW.
