Wind power is the cleanest energy sources par excellence, used by windmills and paddles for normal human applications.
Sorgent.e has been investing in several companies for a number of years, together with specialised partners, in order to be able to use the wind's energy to produce renewable energy.
In addition to characteristics such as high wind levels, that need to be accurately measured for years with sophisticated anemological systems, Sorgent.e is particularly exacting when choosing in which initiatives to invest.
Particular attention and care is placed on both visual impacts and landscape impacts, and also on the effects on the habitats within the wind farms. For this reason, Sorgent.e favours investments that do not harm the ecosystem or tourism.
The realisation of a wind farm must be shared with the population and the local authorities, with social and economic consequences and the possibility to increase a development in the surrounding areas.
This is Sorgent.e's investment policy in the wind sector, that is investing in a portfolio of farms that are currently under construction together with several project companies for a total of around 500 MW.
