Investing in Africa
Sorgent.e has been operating in the African continent for several years and has an office in Ethiopia.
This continent is currently experiencing a significant growth rate, and also has a structural necessity for electrical energy, especially that obtained from renewable sources, Sorgent.e is therefore currently developing several investments, with a focus on the hydroelectric sector with plans that have the following prerogatives:
- High environmental value: with latest generation technical characteristics in order not to compromise natural habitats and to allow ecologically sustainable introduction;
- High economical and social values: the initiatives undertaken form part of a network of associations and relationships with local entities, such as International Organisations, government bodies, local communities, … , while enabling everyone to benefit from the sustainability of the presence of the hydro resource.
The relationships established with financial organisations and credit institutions in this continent, together with whom Sorgent.e is realising several initiatives, are particularly interesting.
Sorgent.e considers its partnerships with local entities to form the basis for sharing ideas and experiences. Together with primary local operators, Sorgent.e is participating in strategic initiatives in the relevant sectors.
