When it comes to issues relating to renewable energy, Europe is definitely the most interesting and responsive market. The most recent legislation of the European Community prescribes clear and exacting objectives regarding the quota of renewable energy to be produced. Even though the sector is already undergoing considerable development, the years to come will bring high growth rates, particularly if a positive attitude towards the numerous initiatives present should prevail.
Sorgent.e does not want to be excluded from these evolutions, and is participating in the development of many projects in European nations, including France and several Balkan nations that are new members or prospective members of the European Community.
The most interesting sectors are those in which Sorgent.e has already invested and in which its proprietary know-how and experience gained enable new situations and new investments to be assessed.
In this European scenario, our strategy is to cooperate with national partners that have tried and tested experience, by creating a network of operating relationships in order to enable our shareholdings to integrate better with the demands and idiosyncrasies of each single nation.
At the present time, initiatives are being developed for several hundred MW in hydroelectric, wind and photovoltaic plants.
