Padua has been awarded as first in the Res Champions League 2012, the European championship for renewable energies, awarding the best performances on green energy sources and energetic local policies for townships with more than 100 thousand inhabitants.
The competition called the attention on a positive trend for the whole Italian national territory, especially for the PV field, in which, during 2011, Italy gained the first place for installed capacity.
